Hearts and Flowers - Finding Your Perfect Match
The internet has created a mecca of opportunities for dating. Rather than face the uncertainty of nightclubs, pubs or speed-dating we can, in seconds, start searching the myriad of online dating sites and begin to judge, assess and select who we 'talk' to.
Does internet dating work? We've all heard of someone who has found their partner this way, so success is a possibility. Whilst for many, meeting the 'right one' happens in the normal course of life.
The question is 'what makes someone your perfect partner?'
There isn't a simple answer but I do have some questions for you to ponder.
Make a list of your relationship must haves for each of the following:
- Emotional
- Spiritual
- Physical
- Career
- Financial
If you are having trouble getting started, think about the antithesis of your perfect partner for an understanding of what you can't tolerate.
Perhaps for you it's someone who is emotionally draining, self-centred, food obsessed, unemployed and believes the world owes them.
Eeewh! I hope that helps (lol).
Okay - have you completed your list of relationship must haves?
Now think about where you are in terms of:
- Emotional
- Spiritual
- Physical
- Career
- Financial
Is there a discrepancy between the two lists?
Are there areas where you need to improve or make change?
My belief is that we will attract the perfect person when there is congruence between what we want and who we are.
Sharing similar ethics, values and beliefs is a solid basis for a loving, caring and complementary relationship.
What steps will you take to become the person you choose to be?
Enjoy the journey,
